Cornish Concrete Products Ltd (CCP) is committed to achieving the highest standards of environmental performance and continually aims to minimise the impact of its operations. CCP will ensure that no lasting environmental damage occurs as a result of its production. Policies are both implemented and monitored to ensure that manufacturing and activities both on and of site meet the requirements of current legislation and best practice.

As a company we regard compliance with relevant environmental laws and the adoption of responsible standards where no legislation exists.

CCP will strive to develop and improve its operations and methods of work to prevent or reduce waste generation, as well as our energy and natural resources consumption and responsibly in all our activities, recycle waste material in main product lines where practicable.

CCP undertake to continually raise environmental awareness through the development and training of its employees and will communicate openly and consult with customers, suppliers and others on relevant environmental matters. Accordingly CCP is committed to:

1. Developing a management framework for implementation of its environmental

    policy objectives into decision making at all levels, alongside safety, commercial

    and all other matters.

2. Comply with all applicable environmental legislation, regulations and standards

3. Developing an operational procedure to minimise pollution risks and to deal with

    any incidents

4. Taking positive actions to minimise waste and encourage recycling wherever

    possible.

5. Reviewing the company’s environmental policy annually to take account of

    organisational legislative and economic changes.
