Quicklay Hollow Core Floor provides a quick labour saving method of laying suspended flooring. Units are 1200mm nominal width and can be purpose made to suit particular requirements. Narrow planks are fabricated to minimise insitu strips, although small amounts may still be necessary which can be carried out at the same time as grouting in the floor. Units should be grouted in using 20N/mm concrete with a maximum aggregate size of 20mm.

Quicklay Hollow Core Floor is wet cast with solid ends using expanded polystyrene to create the voids. All units have lifting rings cast in, enabling them to be swung into position without additional leverage, and thus avoiding lifting chains damaging the edges or the need to "bar" units into final position. This allows far greater speed of erection to all other comparative products.

Units are available in three depths: 150mm, 200mm and 250mm. Solid planks are also available upon request.
