Helical Staircases
A feature staircase that makes an architectural statement of intent. CCP Helical Staircases are cast face down and the soffit is trowelled by skilled tradesmen. By this method CCP are able to accurately reflect the multi faceted soffit, which cannot be easily replicated by formwork.
Depending on the centre of gravity, helical stairs may require restraint at top and bottom.
Alternatively, the treads can designed to cantilever from a central circular core that and thus erection is straightforward as units can be stacked on top each other.
