As part of a new flood defence scheme, we supplied two 30 tonne structures to the village of Boscastle to replace the existing stone bridge.

The bridge was curved on plan and elevation, but also in section with bull nosed edges. It had a span to depth ratio of 28:1 and as a result of this, each bridge section required its own specially built transportation frame.

The bridge sections were installed in just half a day.
